Nature seen during journey makes you fall in love with nature, birds, animals, sky, stars. The difficulties which team faced, getting lost in a forest, sliding over a mountain of Snow, interactions and fighting with the Camp leader, going back to the basecamp without completing the trek, and suddenly moving again for Summit, all these incidents will make you feel like you are watching a movie or you are in that trekking group. The value of money goes down as you go to the higher height of the mountains.

  1. I did this trek twice in 1991 and 1993. At that base camp was at Raisen and it was for both Chanderkhani and Sar Pass. From raisen it took us two days to reach kasol. I don't find it any different from other treks in HP and don't understand the trekkers liking and their decision to book this trek for six months in advance and then crying when it was cancelled because of corona this and last year i.e 2020& 2021.

    1. That's Great. You did this trek much before. I did it in 2011 with YHAI. It was my first trek at Himalaya after 20-25 treks in Maharashtra and I was going first time out of Maharashtra only for trekking. So for first time trekker YHAI is better considering discipline and also considering the cost. That time Fees were Rs. 3200/-. So I could attempt for this trek. I guess because of its low cost and high popularity, all seats ( 50 nos x 31 days = 1550 candidates) get booked very quickly. Many trekkers can book their tickets for train 4 months earlier. Considering all these anyone is ready to book seat 6 months before. But , right now even I done understand why people are booking treks 6 months earlier. Now, everyone need to have patience.

Anyways, thank for your feedback. Hope you may like book also.
